bgnoise is the name given to an old group blog that I used to maintain among my friends and I. With the advent of facebook, bgnoise’s role greatly diminished but I’ve always loved the name and have kept the domain for many years.

The name fit quite well within the context of a music blog. And so I’ve rebooted the domain as a tumblr blog and decided to focus on mashups, remixes and collaborations as well as take a look at older tunes used as samples and cool covers.

This blog uses the Themanati by Anthony Ashcroft.
